What are the odds of getting Deadeye or Supernova in Anime Zero?

The guide pages we read list Deadeye and Supernova at 0.01% per reroll each. On rolls alone, 1,000 rerolls give about a 9.5% chance of one specific trait and about 18% for either of the two. Pro Game Guides lists a Mythical pity bar of 1,000 rerolls that guarantees the trait you aim it at.

How many rerolls do I need for Ferocity or Sniper?

Both are listed at 0.04% per reroll. For one specific trait, rolls alone need about 1,733 rerolls for a 50% chance, 5,756 for 90% and 11,511 for 99%. Pro Game Guides lists a Legendary pity bar of 250 rerolls, which caps the wait at 250 if you aim it at the trait you want.

How does the Anime Zero trait pity bar work?

Pro Game Guides says Legendary trait pity is 250 rerolls, Mythical is 1,000, and you tap the bar to choose which trait it pays out. AllThingsHow (October 8) instead ties 250 to Ferocity and 1,000 to Supernova. We do not pick a reading, so the calculator takes the bar size as a number you can change.

Does 2x Luck change the trait chances?

Pro Game Guides says 2x Luck now applies to trait rerolls and that the trait menu shows the adjusted chances. Type the percentage your own menu shows into the calculator instead of the table value.

What does 90% confidence mean here?

It is the number of rerolls after which you would have at least one hit 90% of the time. It is not a promise, and about one player in ten would still be empty-handed at that point, which is why the pity bar matters for the rare traits.

Are these odds tested in the game?

No. We have not run any reroll ourselves. The 18 chances are listed by AllThingsHow, Bloxodes, Beebom and GAMES.GG, and the rarity and pity figures come from Pro Game Guides, so every number can change with an update.

Assumptions

Every reroll is an independent roll at the chance you enter, the percentage your trait menu shows (Bloxodes calls the table values the displayed roll chance).
A pity bar guarantees the trait it is aimed at once it is full. A bar already at its size is read as 'the next reroll pays out', so one reroll is always needed. The pity result assumes you are chasing that trait.
To chase several traits at once, add their chances: one reroll gives exactly one trait.

Limits

We have not run any rerolls in the game. Chances, rarities and pity sizes come from the pages listed under Where the numbers come from and can change with any update.
2x Luck changes the chances (Pro Game Guides, Update 4). Type the figure your own trait menu shows instead of the table value.
No source says whether the bar resets after a payout or when you aim it at another trait, so enter the progress your own bar shows.
Auto Reroll, Keep Traits and Bulk Trait Reroll decide when you stop, not what a roll can give, so they are not modelled.
Pages write the same trait two ways (Power I on three pages, Power 1 on two); rows here use Roman numerals. The 18 chances add up to 100.01% because pages round each figure.

How to use the results

The first number is the chance of at least one hit within the rerolls you enter, assuming every reroll is independent. The “rerolls for 90% confidence” row is the budget that gets you there nine times out of ten. With a pity bar entered, the second set of numbers shows the same questions when the bar steps in, so you can see how much of the wait it removes.

If your trait menu shows a different percentage, for example because 2x Luck is active, type that number instead of the table value. The calculator never reads the game: it only does the arithmetic on the figures you give it.
